So how did the Falcons look?
I didn't see the game, but I heard mixed reports. Some say Ryan looked much improved others said no. How about turner and their defense? God I want them to suck this year. Nothing would piss me off more than them winning the division.

Re: So how did the Falcons look?
At this point I am really more worried about the Carolina Panthers. Don't get me wrong, the Falcons are a major concern too. Also, don't forget that the Buccaneers should be a lot stronger than last year. In the end, I see the Panthers getting better, and will put a serious challenge in for a division title.

Re: So how did the Falcons look?
Their O-Line is a serious liability, no run game to speak of and the Bengals could get decent pressure...

Re: So how did the Falcons look?
... for the brief time I watched the game before I felt the uncontrollable urge to puke and possibly gouge my eyes out, they looked so-so ... part of it is, of course, the preseason, the fact it was Cincinnati and part of it is they are really average ... defensive line was jumping, 2 personal fouls (albeit the face-masking penalty was a bad call) ... it was just a very un-entertaining, unimpressive game by both teams ... I had to turn away from the game early while I still had some dignity & self-respect, .

Re: So how did the Falcons look?
I suppose Matty Lice stayed in an entire half to pad his preseason stats.. So everyone could talk about his this is his year 5 break out.
The only starting QB in the league (that I saw) play more than 2-3 possessions in a preseason game so far. Their first team O was shut down in the red zone by the Bengals. And barly made it past the 50 in the first two possessions. Dalton has an arm on him but he is inaccurate as hell. Neither impressed nor worried. |
