Gambling expert RJ Bell of Las Vegas-based Pregame.com said an estimated two-thirds of bets worldwide were on the Packers, with about $150 million more bet on Green Bay than Seattle.

``Due to one call by the replacement refs, the bettors lost $150 million, and the bookie won $150 million for a total swing of $300 million on one debatably bad call,'' Bell said.

I seriously hate gambling and really wish that all bookies, casinos, and every other entity would go away. Gambling is the most stupefied form of entertainment and really does nothing but puts people who have no clue into the broke farm.

Whoa! $300 million? I was hearing $15mil - $150mil, but $300 million? Now that big money is involved, something should be shaking out ... in the end, it's all about the Benjamins.
