NYJets Bountygate, sort of, ask Reggie Bush
I saw a report on NFL Network this morning about this.
Dolphins' Bush has not pity for Jets losing Revis Dolphins' Bush has not pity for Jets losing Revis By BRIAN COSTELLO Posted: 10:59 PM, September 25, 2012 Dolphins running back Reggie Bush is clearly unhappy with the jets. Bush, appearing on a radio show in Florida, expressed no sympathy for the Jets’ loss of Darrelle Revis on Sunday to a torn ACL. Bush injured his left knee in the game, but it is not serious. He seems to be bothered by some pre- and postgame comments from the Jets. “It’s like the old saying, what goes around comes around,” Bush said on The Paul and Young Ron Show. “They talked about all week about putting hot sauce and this and that, and they ended up losing their best player for the rest of the season. So, it’s sad that it happened because of that, but I’m going to be back.” Jets coach Rex Ryan referred to putting extra “hot sauce” on Bush last week. After the game, Jets linebacker Calvin Pace caused a stir when he said “we had to put him on out.” Pace clarified the remark Monday, saying the Jets did not intentionally injure Bush. The Jets and Dolphins play again on Oct. 28 at MetLife Stadium Read more: Dolphins' Bush has not pity for Jets losing Revis |

Rex Ryan targeting Reggie Bush For Injury
Reggie Bush on Darrelle Revis injury: 'What goes around comes around' - CBSSports.com
Read the above. Ryan doesn't exactly come out and say it, but what can "get attention from us" mean - especially when it is said in angry rebuttal to something Bush said. I guess it is perfectly OK for teams in the NE to say they're going to rough up a player. This all started when JETS players talked about giving RB a little hot sauce. Whatever that means, it clearly implies doing more than just playing the game. I know none of this rises to the level of GW's "kill the head" stupidity, but it just shows again that this type of talk is prevalent in the NFL. By the way, they talked about hot sauce for Reggie and he just happened to get hurt in the game. That is more evidence for intent to injure than RG can find against the SAINTS. Posted here instead of SAINTS section so i could get away with ranting about this one more time without being flamed. |

This is nothing new. While Reggie was still a Saint, Bart Scott admittedly tried to intentionally hurt Bush to get him out of the game. Every team does their fair share of shady stuff... unfortunately for us, Goodell decided to make an example of us.
