Well this is Meachem in a nutshell. One week he'll wow you and catch 6 passes for 153yds and 2 TDs and next week he'll only have 2 drops. His biggest problem has always been inconsistancy. The talent is undeniably there but he just seems unable to put it together every time he plays.

I wish people would quit using the word "ignorant" out of context. To be ignorant, one must IGNORE something. If someone is picking on the way someone else talks, that is not ignorant. It is perhaps uncalled for... unless you're making fun of roddy white. He deserves it.

If someone is running around naked and you say "what? I didn't notice anything wrong", that is ignorant. Sorry, but this is a long time pet peeve of mine.

If someone is not speaking correctly, that can be considered ignorant...

I was referring to someone in here who said it was ignorant to rag on the way Meachem talks.

Again, in order to be ignorant, one must ignore something. Using your above information, someone with lack of knowledge could be considered ignorant. But only if he ignored the facts about whatever it is he is lacking knowledge in. Not knowing something, and refusing to know something are two different things

When someone makes fun of another, it is an insult. It is in no way ignorant. Is it not a fact that if someone doesn't speak very well, then they can be subject to criticism for that reason? I'm not saying it's right to make fun of someone, unless that person is just a complete idiot and brings it on himself. But my point is that there is no lack of knowledge, and nothing has been ignored. Thus making the word "ignorant" out of context.

I see it routinely. If someone, such as myself, doesn't agree with homosexuality for instance, then they are labeled as ignorant. How is it ignorant to have a stance, or belief? Am I ignoring or lacking in knowledge of what a homosexual is? No, I know exactly what that is, and I don't stand for it. I don't hate them, but I hate the lifestyle. I have every bit as much right to stand against it as people who believe they have the right to be gay. And as far as the law is concerned, they do have the right, sadly. But I'm less concerned with what man deems right, as I am with what God says is right. In fact, I only care what God has said.

If that is ignorant, then we are all ignorant. Because everyone has a belief, and no one can be right if there is no God to tell us we are right. We have no moral compass to stand on without Him.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
