Re: The NFL's 10 Greatest Rivalries
Yeah, I don't see the Pats/Colts rivalry as more intense than Saints/Falcons ... it was more of a Brady/Manning thing. Oak/KC, Tenn/Hou, Steelers/Browns ... I don't really notice them as much, mostly because unless you're in that region, the rivalry doesn't mean that much if the one or both of the teams aren't that good ... case in point: the NFC East. All Dallas' rivalries are not that interesting (or historic) and do not necessarily rate to be in the NFL's Top Ten, eh?

Which quite obviously would make Dallas the most hated team in the League by fans...

Re: The NFL's 10 Greatest Rivalries
Dallas vs anyone in the NFCE? Seriously?
The only real Rivalry Dallas has is probably with Washington. it was more intense back in the 90s and prior with Dallas and NY and that was it. Top 5 Rivalries off the top of my head would be: Browns/Ravens Saints/Falcons Packers/Bears Broncos/Raiders Cowboys/Redskins really these big rivalries change about every 10-15 years. The 80s and 90s was Saints/49ers and its now Saints/Falcons The only rivalry that has not changed really has been Bears/Packers. |

We're never in them because the Saints and Falcons have sucked ass for the better part of 40 plus years.

Re: The NFL's 10 Greatest Rivalries
Well the NFC East is composed of the most powerful owners in the league while being among the biggest tv markets each. Their spats run so deep that they refused to be broken up during realignment. Shouldnt Dallas be in our division before Car? Not everyone cares about the Saints and Falcons. One ring between the two of em since when, again?
I see no mention of Jets/Pats. Trust me. NY and Boston absolutely focuses for those games, just as atl and Saints fans do during our action. Hell even Giants fans watch the Jets/Pats if only to personally witness the jets or Brady fail. That's major ratings. |
Imitating my game is the most sincere form of flattery.

Me personally wish they would go back 3 division conferences and switch things up a little with the scheduling where each team dont have to face each other twice every season, Say.........Saints vs Falcons twice, Saints vs Bucs twice, Saints vs Panthers twice, Saints vs 49ers ONCE, and alternate that schedule every 4 years to a new team. Something like that would put the rest so much bull**** that happens with the playoffs when many teams should be there and are not, 9-7 Giants winning the SB screams loud that a change needs to be made when so many teams are left out each year at 9-7 due to some BS tiebreaker or scheduling which IMO has sucked ass in the NFL the last many years, its not just the Saints, but many teams. |

The only thing I like about the Cowboys is watching them lose. Of course, I pretty-much hate all the other NFC East teams, too. I wish they'd tie every division game.
