Game 6, 2013: When Tom Brady would set NFL record for consecutive games with a TD

Drew Brees threw five interceptions in the loss to Atlanta on Thursday night. He failed to throw a touchdown, snapping his NFL record for consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass at 53. After throwing one touchdown in the win over Miami on Sunday, Tom Brady owns the top active streak with 44 straight games with a TD toss. Brady would pass Johnny Unitas (47) for second all-time in Week 17 this year and would pass Brees in game six of the 2013 season. The win over the Dolphins clinched the AFC East Championship for the Patriots and gives Brady an NFL-record 10 division titles.

Eight amazing stats from Week 13 in the NFL

Only 1 record really matters. The number of Super Bowl victories. We are 1 for 1! You could throw a touchdown pass in 100 consecutive games and not win any of them along with starting and losing 300 consecutive games.

Sadly, it's only a matter of time before Brady owns this record. What a clusterf*ck that game in Atlanta was.

True Dat.

Aside: Brady has an incredible number of regular season wins, divisional records and Super bowls wins

Brady is a winner, there's no denying that, but he loses the title of 'NFL QB with the best looking wife' the day Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele make it official. At least when she comments on the game, we can assume she knows what she's talking about ... oh wait, she works for ESPN, .

Vikings’ Christian Ponder, ESPN’s Samantha Steele are engaged

Well, it might be just me, but I personally don't think she's all that hot. For example, I think Kristin Cavallari is better looking than Samantha Steele, but then again it all depends on personal taste...

And I'm off course speaking in relative terms.

She would look even better if her dress were crumpled up besides your bed!
