Roger Goodell: Ray Lewis 'incredible'
Ray Lewis has probably injuried more players single-handly in his 17 year career than the entire Saints defense has in the same time span!!
********************************************************* "I think he's a great example ... how you can play the game in a very physical way but play it fundamentally sound, using the right techniques, techniques that are safe for you and safer for the opponent," Goodell said. "Watching him play, it's just always 110 percent effort on every play. He's giving it his all, he's got incredible passion. He's a fierce competitor and you saw that in the way he played the game. It's something I admire and I love to watch him play." Goodell said he and Lewis had regularly kept in touch during the commissioner's six-year tenure regarding pressing issues facing the league. Roger Goodell lauds Baltimore Ravens' retiring Ray Lewis as 'a special guy' - ESPN |
"A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I don't care what Roger Goodell has to say, about anything.

Re: Roger Goodell: Ray Lewis 'incredible'
I don't like him but there is no denying that he's one of the all time great players in the league. He's a fierce hitter but I've never thought he was dirty in any way.
Even Roger can be right on occasion. |

Re: Roger Goodell: Ray Lewis 'incredible'
He lied to police. Innocent people don't lie unless they have something to hide. A couple of people at the scene said he was involved in the murders then suddenly....changed their stories. If Goodell would have been the judge he would have been on death row if you go with how he handled the Saints.

Re: Roger Goodell: Ray Lewis 'incredible'
I agree with Pope Goodell on this one statement, Lewis has always been a beast on the field.
