NFL may have no intention in letting a Rookie QB and a team that has won 5 SBs in the past into the SB either. But now if you talk about ratings which in terms = Money which we know the NFL pays more intention to. Then they may throw NE/San Fran into the SB. My view of the SB being in New Orleans was, Who could the NFL rig into this game that will give huge huge ratings? Well its not the Saints because they not big market. Long time ago my choices did include New England, NFC side was going to be a team like Washington, Dallas, or NY, but thats a year too late since we saw NY/NE last year, oddly enough Washington was in the playoffs this year though, then I remember goodell telling Viking fans in the parking lot that he will get them a SB, perhaps he has that intention for Atl this year. Think about it, what better way to get to the SB than having to face 2 teams across the country that travel to your place, and then the possibility of facing a team that has never matched up very well with you in the years past? You just about cant script a better scenario. |
