Happy Retirement Lewis and Gonzales
Hopefully they both will retire as they have said so. Go out with a bang. Go out with a team their final years that was a winner all the way.
You know some of these say this and then change their minds. I saw on NFL AM show this morning that Lewis and Gonzales should retire and not leave on a note like Farve. Yes, they mentioned Farve. It is true that Farve stayed in too long and they said this and his name. I think they should retire on a high note and while they are hot enough to gain other careers in things close to football and are in pretty good shape health wise. Retiring would be a smart and classy move. Football commentators? No. I think there are enough of football ex players who are commentators. The real journalists are there and enough of these former ball players. Also, where could they go? The market seems saturated. NFL Net, Fox, CBS, ESPN, would have to fire some of the others to make room. Four people on a panel is enough. Five is pushing it. Six is too many. We will see in June, August if they will mean what they have said about retiring. |

LOL at Utah.
I know Mitch , the Falcons have not won the biggest game, but still, getting to that NFC Champ game and having a winnig season is a great road to retirement. I like your post. We cannot hear it enough that the Falcons lost. LOST! Lost the SB trip to N.O. |
