Colt McCoy - QB - Browns

NEWS: ESPN Cleveland says Colt McCoy is "undoubtedly" done with the Browns.

ANALYSIS: McCoy's noodle arm is not a fit in Norv Turner's offense. Brandon Weeden will be fighting off challenges from Jason Campbell and possibly a rookie, while the Browns try to salvage a draft pick for McCoy. Beat writer Tony Grossi suggests the Texans and Saints as possible landing spots.

Re: Colt McCoy

I see it as highly unlikely we would trade for him but I wouldn't mind it after they cut him.

Re: Colt McCoy

McCoy would be a really nice fit as the backup QB, and SP could groom him into a really effective passer - if the price is right, the Saints should definitely at least consider him after he's released.

Re: Colt McCoy

SP offense does not require a strong armed QB. some thing about his demeanor just seems to be a possible good fit. but as always i leave QB pick ups to SP. i have not pegged one since drew right lol

Re: Colt McCoy

What draft picks? He was drafted in the 3rd round and now they want to get rid of him because they don't know how to use him. "Hot mess" is right.

Re: Colt McCoy

The Brown's don't deserve anything for McCoy. If they want to cut then they should cut him. It's their fault if they don't know how to use him.
