Romo is the least of Dallas' problems. Also, the last 2 years are about 40 million, so basically its a 4 year 68 million contract. Thats not too bad. |

In summary: Tony Romo has the most 4th qtr comebacks in the NFL for 5yrs. Despite all that "coming back", Tony Romo has only one career playoff victory and zero Superbowl appearances. Matty Ryan has only one career playoff victory and zero Superbowl appearances, ergo, Tony Romo = Matty Ryan. It has been well established on this board Matty Ryan sucks, ergo, Tony Romo sucks. "Sucks" may be a little harsh, but Romo has shown a propensity for blowing games. |

Its a team sport and to judge a QB on playoff wins isn't fair. The problem in Dallas isn't even close to being Tony Romo. If Romo was a Saint under Sean Payton I think he has a Superbowl win and several playoff wins. I'd take him over Joe Flacco, Ben Roethleisberger and Eli Manning every day of the week. If we didn't have Brees I'd be elated to have Tony Romo QB'ing for Sean Payton. |

The guy has lost games for his team, moreso then any QB in recent memory.![]()
Terry Bradshaw summed it up best, IMO, after/during one of those losses when he pointed out that Romo came up through the practice squad instead of being drafted out of college like most QBs in his position. Bradshaw went on to point out that on the practice squad, they tell you to just dump the ball off when you get pressure and that's why Romo has such problems at critical times in a game, he's been coached that way. It's a very keen observation by someone who would know, IMO. I wouldn't take him over any of those guys you listed (you gotta' be pulling my leg, ![]() ... and that's all I have to say about that, ![]() |
