Not to hijack the thread, but my personal best April Fool's joke? I called my ex-wife from work & pretended to be Ed McMahon from Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. It worked because my ex was foreign-born, wasn't aware of the traditions surrounding April 1st, and we had just recently returned to the US & had coincidentally mailed in one of those Publisher Clearinghouse entries. When I got home from work, she was so excited to tell me we were millionaires,
