Redskins sign wide receivers Devery Henderson, Donte’ Stallworth
 

The Redskins added to their wide receiver depth Wednesday by adding two former Saints in Donte’ Stallworth and Devery Henderson.


Henderson, 31, was the second-round pick of the 2004 draft and played nine seasons with the Saints, providing a deep threat and averaging 17.9 yards per catch. He caught 22 passes for 316 yards and a touchdown while starting nine games last season.

Stallworth impressed Redskins coaches enough during a tryout to catch on with the team for the second time. The 13th overall pick of the 2002 draft, has 321 catches for 4,837 yards and 35 touchdowns while playing for the Saints, Eagles, Patriots, Browns, Ravens and Redskins.

Stallworth has made more news off the field than on of late.

after the Saints, the Redskins are one of the other teams I actually like, and pull for... unless they play the Saints.

I'm kinda liking that Dev went to Washington. It will be fun watching the Redskins kick the Cowboys butt. Can't wait.

Congrats to Devery Henderson. He'll always be the guy who caught the pass when Drew entered the realm of Johnny U.
