Re: No handbags, you know, purses
Seat cushions!!! This will not go over well with those of us who travel to Lambeau to plop our collective tushies on cold aluminum bleacher seats.
I don't own one and I never used one. Clear bags? Like those purses some retailers require their employees to use to discourage employee theft? I have no problem purchasing a clear Saints bag and flashing it around while proudly declaring to the general public, "I am a Saint!". This would be for general use; require this and start to strip me of other liberties...I have a problem. Tickets are expensive. I like attending games. I can learn to stay home and watch the Red Zone; after all, my seats are better and I see more action. |

Re: No handbags, you know, purses
NFL, why do you cause me such pain? First you ruin last year for me and my Saint fans...next you want to strip me of my purse and a safe place to place those happy hand-outs and program guides; trinkets and shirts I pick up at the fan shop. Strip me of my purse and force me to plant my tush in front of the redzone ... but now....
Don't even consider running damn Obamacare Commercials on my NFL time!! |

Re: No handbags, you know, purses
OK so do the math on this one folks. You have games every week for over five months. Roughly the schedule goes home/away/home/away etc. You have something else that happens to most of our beautiful female NFL fans, for 3-5 days, every 28 days. At some point these dates are gonna line up, and you are gonna see a lot of ladies walking around with tampons in a clear plastic bag, and to me, that's just sorta plain rude to the woman, to make her do that. I don't ever want to make a woman feel uncomfortable, but I think I know a few women who would feel kind of uncomfortable about that, it's personal and private and not something you walk around advertising. Or like, make up, or pills, or whatever.
I just think it's really insulting to female fans, to rob them of that privacy of a woman's purse. EVERYONE, LOOK AT ME, I AM CARRYING AROUND A DIAPHRAGM IN FRONT OF 50,000 PEOPLE. This is the ultimate in NFL stupidity. If they are worried about pressure cooker bombs, they should do what airlines used to do with the size of carry on luggage. You have a wooden box of a certain size, at every gate. If your bag fits in the box, you can bring it on the plane or in the stadium. If it's too big, if it won't fit in the box, a box that is big enough to hold a pressure cooker bomb, well then you can't bring it in. Any bag small enough to fit in the box, gets inspected before you go in. Problem solved. |

This is bs, and a real insult to female fans and those with children.
The NFL just seems to be going out of its way to piss folks off lately. |

I may be in the minority here... possibly the singularity... I do not and would not bring my children to NFL games or places where there is a chance for rowdy drunk obnoxious people, pushy crowds, or a decibel level high enough to damage their hearing.
Some places are not meant for children. |

Re: No handbags, you know, purses
You are correct.
We do have exceptions and Lambeau is really a great NFL venue to bring kids. Rowdy drunks? No Packer ticket holder will risk having Packer GOLD ripped from their investment portfolio because an idiot purchased one of their tickets and Green Bay's finest had to cuff'em and take them out of the game. That is Biblical. Thou shalt not place another man's Lambeau season ticket at risk. |
