Kraft: Putin stole my ring

"I took out the ring and showed it to (Putin)," Kraft said this week, per the New York Post. "And he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring,' I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

Kind of comical. Too bad for Kraft, who seems like an okay fella. What's sad is this:

Kraft kept his wits about him and complied with a call from the White House, in which a George W. Bush handler told him: " 'It would really be in the best interest of U.S.-Soviet relations if you meant to give the ring as a present.' "

I dislike this very much.

If it were my story to tell, I'd add to the part where Putin puts the ring in his pocket, ... and he mutters, "Dos Vidaniya" as three KGB agents got around him and walked out ... you know, to give it that 'cold war' feel,

Soviet and kgb word usage i didnt think the cold war and soviet union was still around amazing. Im suprised kraft actually gave putin the ring to even let him hold it. Kraft shouldn't be suprised by putins action. The man thinks he is king with his kgb pals around.
