Depends on who you ask, I'm sure the answers will range from those that do not know it doesn't work like a steroid to those that say "anything" that gives an advantage is cheating.

HGH is probably the biggest edge in football. You and I both play on Sunday, next Sunday we face each other, I'm completely recovered by Friday, your still recovering a little on game day. That alone while not making me stronger would give me a strength advantage.

Ever hear of GHB? Basically a homemade horse tranquilizer? It puts you undo rem sleep and your muscles recover faster... Mix it with alcohol and you can easily OD, many have.

That's what I'm talking about, I don't see a problem with something that promotes healing as opposed to a substance that builds muscle mass.
