Damn I don't want our guys in their locker room. Shouldn't the league step in & do something?

Wash the training facilities properly and you cut down the risk of infections, its not hard. Either that or one of the players caught it and instead of getting treatment decided to not bother with a visit to the doc.

I work for a company that does the cleaning in the biggest hospital in Sweden. MRSA is something we deal with daily. Its not really hard to get rid of but the cleaning need to be thoroughly done.
lee909: Part of the problem is that its very agressive but the first symptoms are quite like any other infection, fever, rashes etc. which might lead you to think its not that bad. |

You would think though that NFL players would be made aware of the dangers and that any rashes should be checked out.
When you have that many athletes in clise quarters nothing should be left to chance. When you consider how every part of the teams camp/season is planned and how many physio, doctors etc are around the team this sort of outbreak shouldn't happen.Hell if it comes to it haveva doctor check the players each week.As has been said its a very aggressive infection and if left untreated could kill. Im more aware of its issues through MMA than football. Its quite common in grappling/MMA circles in big gyms as it only takes one idiot to pass it around. |
"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

I agree but it is surprising how many guys that are totally oblivious to this kind of stuff.
