Atlanta Falcons hurting bad
I do not wish injuries on any team, but if they must happen it is far more acceptable if it happens to the Falcons.
The Falcons lost starting DE/LB Kroy Beirmann and starting FB Bradie Ewing to season ending IR this week. They also placed starting LB Sean Weatherspoon on IR - Designated to Return meaning he is out for at least nine weeks. Starting RB Steven Jackson is also now expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a thigh injury. Roddy White is dealing with a high ankle sprain and will be a much less than 100% for the next several weeks. Now is the time to take advantage of this situation. It is likely the Falcons will drop a unexpected game over the next few weeks so the Saints need to keep winning to build a large lead in the standings. |

Makes sweeping the Falcons a whole lot easier. Tampa bay comes to us for a possible second sweep in the dome. Split with Carolina and we are 5-1 in the division.
