this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; This is the simple law of supply and demand.... Businesses will charge what they can get, and people will pay it. As unpopular as my next statement is it is fact. There is no "right" to affordable anything....

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
The more successful the team the higher the prices go. Another Saint Superbowl and we may all be watching from home. I went to the Jacksonville/Saints game last year and paid about $35/ticket.

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
So if the quoted price in the OP is too high, and people are saying they paid 30-90 a ticket... Why are people complaining the tickets are too expensive to go?

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
Wish I could remember what the actual price on the ticket in Jacksonville was. What is says and what the ticket holder can actually get varies greatly depending on the team, lol.

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
I think they went with a average of price. I was gonna go to the Cowboys/Saints Thanksgiving game & the cheapest ticket was $109 up top & $1300 for the ones close to the Cowboys sideline & $400 close to the vistors. Needless to say I watched on tv.

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
The tickets are originally sold at face value, subsequent sales like ticket exchange are defendant on what the private seller is asking.

Re: Most Expensive Tix in the NFL
^^^ What he said. The upper-decks being an exception, it's rare to score tickets at face value.
As for the list, remember it's an average ticket price. So everything from the cheapest nosebleed bench to the most expensive luxury box is factored into the figure. |
