Anyone notice the QB trend this season?
Schaub 2 INTs
Flacco 5 INTs Ryan 1 INT All 3 QBs are inaccurate passers and rely on their big receiver that is strong enough to rip the ball out of double and triple coverage. Ryan should have nver thrown that pass to Jones with Talib covering him, Julio couldn't power the reception. Schaub throws to Johnson knowing he can strong arm it.. when he cant its an INT Flacco lost Bolden and no longer has that receiver than can strong arm the reception when covered. |

Re: Anyone notice the QB trend this season?
Hey, when it works it's spectacular. When it doesn't....meh. It happens to Stafford/Megatron, Eli/Nicks, TB QB/V-Jax, and etc etc etc... The only person that is immune to it at this point is God, aka Peyton Manning.

Re: Anyone notice the QB trend this season?
I am sure there are more out there, those were the ones that stood out to me after watching football Sunday.
A Gonzalez/Jones/Graham/Bolden/Johnson does a lot for compensating for an inaccurate QB. Drew is not on the list because.. well, he throws it right to the defender, his accuracy is fine LOL.. Its his judgement that concerns me . |

Haha! No doubt.
Looks like you can add the Browns rookie TE, Jordan Cameron, to that list of "helpers", too. That kid looks awesome every week, so far. |

and you can't attribute them to young receivers running the wrong routes since two of them off the top of my head had Colston targeted.

Re: Anyone notice the QB trend this season?
With Flacco I can understand somewhat, he's always been considered nothing more then a game-manager with a stout defense ... Schaub & Ryan are often touted as being above-average/borderline-elite, so I think they're definitely being exposed.

Re: Anyone notice the QB trend this season?
A number of Drew's picks are off of deflections when he tries to thread the needle. Sometimes it looks like the receiver isn't even expecting the pass because of coverage.
A QB can have too much faith in his arm. |
