Ed Reed
I know I'm a guy for giving second chances as I'd personally love to wear a Asomugha jersey, however, is Ed Reed realistic. Could be a great mentor as well as help stepping in with some starters banged up. Sure he'd love to come home to WhoDat Cajun Country

Re: Ed Reed
There's a reason he was released... The Texans took a chance with him after his significant hip surgery, and it didn't work out...
Besides, we have 5 very capable safeties, why do we want to add another? |
Re: Ed Reed
He is 35, battered, bruised & more importantly the ball hawking skills are GONE. Father time catches up with the great ones too.

Re: Ed Reed
if the clears waivers but I don't wanna claim him off waivers I would sign him but I don't want us to pay the 400,000 + 62,000 per game he's active he's getting now

Re: Ed Reed
ed reed in one hand or chris carr in the other. I don't know I think id like reed as a center fielder type guy but I don't think they wil sign him we don't sign older guys that often
I do like that Ed can catch a int when having the chance. we have a bunch of non catchin DB's on our roster I've noticed that |
Re: Ed Reed on his way out of Houston...
Ed Reed, Gone.

Re: Ed Reed on his way out of Houston...
I'm all for bringing Ed Reed in on a 1 year deal. Rotate him in here and there. We've got injuries at Safety right now anyway. Might sound crazy, but I could envision a 4 safety formation. Reed, Jenkins, Vacarro, and Harper. Jenkins and Vacarro could both go man to man if needed. Also gives them more freedom to blitz.
