It is that they are uncomfortable and on edge about it, combined with the fact that they aren't really used to winning, being a good team is still a relatively new thing to them. Hence the explosion of know-it-all posters suddenly chiming in with details about their team. In 2009 I was all over other teams' forums.

I think the Seahawks fans also are nervous because they know that the Saints team they faced in the playoffs the time before was not the "real" Saints team, because of injuries -- that was a gift from the football gods that they ended up playing against Brees with no real run game. That same year we completely demolished them in the regular season version of the game, rendered them absolutely impotent, but you'll notice they never talk about that game -- they just like to talk about the Marshawn Lynch run from the playoff matchup.

Not really, it's a new feeling being atop the NFL or at least top of NFC.. so we are probably just bored and yearning for some excitement.

"New feeling" equates to being uncomfortable because you've never been there before. You aren't quite sure how to act. Saints fans have been there before. We know exactly what it is like to have a team (Vikings) breathing right down your neck for home-field advantage for the playoffs. We know what it is like to have the media pundits have no faith and plenty of doubt in your team while they rake you over the coals each week when looking for vulnerability. Call it boredom or excitement, but in all honestly, you are all uncomfortable...no matter how confident you may be.
