The Falcons played extremely hard against the Whiners and should have won that game. I like the Falcons chances because they have absolutely owned Cam in the head to head series and they'll be playing at home.
I'm calling it: Falcons 21, Panthers 17. |

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?
The falcants played surprisingly well on Monday. They showed that they aren't about to lay down to end the season. The team has talent and they are playing their last home game of the season. Any professional worth their pay will show up plus, Coach Smith doesn't strike me as someone who would allow quitting. All that being said, the falcants have my support this week (and only this week)...

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?
fans always talk about teams losing at the end of the year to get a better draft position, but for the guys on the field, they know they are playing for a job, contract, or just pride.
Coaches might make personnel decisions that hurt the team, but the guys who take the field will play hard. I don't think the Falcons want to go 4-12 or 1-5 in division Unfortunately, not sure the Falcons can win, and there will only be 30,000 fans at the game |

Surprised by the delusion in the voting on this poll. People will believe anything if it gives them hope, I guess. Panthers will handle their business, will win and lock up the #2 seed before the Saints even hit the field Sunday to fight for it. That chance for the Saints was last week, not this week.

A lot of players for the dirty birds are on notice (job security) including the HC, Tony G's last professional game etc., I'll be surprised if they fold up like a cheap tent. Any Given Sunday. |

I think Atlanta is capable of beating Carolina, especially after watching the way they played last week. Do I think Atlanta will beat Carolina? No.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?
This will be Atlanta's last time taking the field this season in front of their "fans". If they can keep the game tight I think they can pull it off. If they get behind early it will deflate them and they will just role over. Let's hope Cam has the "bigger than usual" head and throws his typical INTs allowing Atlanta to get and keep the momentum.

One thing about the NFC South teams the rivalry is a as good as it gets. The Falcons and The Panthers game will be a battle.

Re: Anyone like failclowns chances against the kittens?
What is this keeping the game tight thing, no doubt Atlanta can win, Steve smith is doubtful with his hamstring injury, so is Jonathan Stewart, Carolina defense is the only thing keeping this team afloat, this is a game the falcons can get. Falcons win 24 - 17
