Patriots merch available

this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I dunno...I think if you have already WON a Super Bowl, at some point somewhere along the line in the past, it's different....now if the Saints ever lost a Super Bowl in the future, obviously for the year or two ...

I dunno...I think if you have already WON a Super Bowl, at some point somewhere along the line in the past, it's different....now if the Saints ever lost a Super Bowl in the future, obviously for the year or two afterward, an "NFC Champions" T-shirt when you just lost the freaking Super Bowl, would seem kind of stupid and sad. But once enough time goes by, it's in the past, I think it doesn't really matter anymore, your team DID win the conference championship, so why not.

For instance, if you were a fan, I think it would be kinda cool to have a "Washington Redskins, 1972 NFC Champions" T shirt, if such a thing existed. That'd be kinda cool. Or a Titans shirt from the Titans/Rams game, the Titans lost on the last play -- ain't no shame in that loss now, people consider that one of the greatest Super Bowls ever. On the other hand, a Vikings or Falcons "NFC Champions" shirt would be pretty laughable.

I dunno. I guess it just depends on the team and the season and the game, and what kind of mojo each team had. Definitely would not want a Bengals "AFC Champions" shirt from the year their players were all coked out and they lost.

Somewhere at home I have an awesome bootleg '91 "Cha Ching" "NFC "Wesssst Champions" Saints shirt, it's pretty cool. Great conversation piece even though they lost in the playoffs.

I have a Raiders 2002 AFC Champions T Shirt. I wore it the day after the Super Bowl. Even though they got blown out in the Super Bowl, they had a great season. Wore the T-shirt all the time.
