They would have cut him anyway. The 9ers love giving away 3rd day draft picks for mediocre players (Blaine Gabbert, Colt Mccoy, Johnathon Martin. The depth problem will eventually catch up to them and they will suffer the consequences.

Johnathan Martin will be a back up, if, at best in a tight knit offensive line that is very talented at Tackle.

I agree, Miami robbed SF getting a 7th for an emotionally compromised nutcase like martin.
