Ya'll know I was glad to get Bell off the practice squad and I was even glad to get Bush, but more for what he did in Miami ... first running back tandem to record 500yds rushing/500yds passing each in the same season ... quite a statement,

... here's a few thoughts that have been running through my mind with the apparent "New Orleans-nization" of the Lions roster:

~ "If you can't beat 'em, hire away their coaches (Lombardi) and sign their running backs (Bell, Bush, Collins) ... "

~ "We're coming to getcha', ... " ... in a friendly, sportsman-like, passive-aggressive sort of way,

Now if we could only work out a deal for that Graham fellow,

I'm pretty confident they'll be able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory regardless, as seems to be par-for-the-course with the Lions,

... perennial also-rans and underdogs, they're always just good enough to make an opponent worry about losing the game, but they never finish,
