Change the Indian to a Neanderthal and keep the name Redskins. Really getting burned out solving the problems of the world.

The shame of it all is that the 'skins have a very loyal fan base and sell out every game- they don't deserve Snider or the Native American controversy.
The team has tradition and some very good rivalries.

When are the NFL and Herr Goodell going to weigh in? The rescinding of the patent logo will affect the NFL as well.
