Milliner, the second-year cornerback for the Jets, says he’s the best cornerback in the NFL.

“The best corner in the league? Me,” Milliner told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. “I ain’t gonna say that somebody else is better than me.”

This is the right answer and the attitude you want your corners to have. The dude is damn good too. He could be right. I think he probably is better than Sherman. If I could take any corner in the league I'd take Patrick Peterson. He's definetely the most athletic corner in the league.

All corners have got to have that mentality because for the most part your out there on an island by yourself

I haven't seen a football field since 2007 and I believe I'd be the best CB in the NFL right now. He has the right mind set.

Ask every NFL CB that question and I'd be shocked if more than 10 of them said someone else.

Meh. I don't buy the whole "corners need to have that attitude" thing. I don't think I've ever heard Champ Bailey say anything cocky, and he's probably a top 10 cornerback of all time. It's possible to be humble and still dominate on the field. A ton of players have proven that.
