“RGIII was wearing a t-shirt that said ‘Know Jesus, Know Peace.’ NFL Uniform Inspector Tony McGee (former Skins DE) approached Griffin,” Phillips tweeted. “McGee told Griffin he couldn’t wear the shirt because it wasn’t a Nike product. Made him turn it inside out for the press conference.”

Sooo...Turning it inside out made it a Nike Product and ok to wear?

From the article: "CSN Washington reports that Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan wore a t-shirt from Five Four Clothing to the podium for the postgame press conference and was not asked to change his shirt."

NFL seem to be under fire political & by religion. Another player, running back from Arizona cardinals Jonathan Dwyer accused of domestic violence

I understand about the Nike deal.

If one can wear a non-Nike shirt, then all can no matter if is a U.S State tourist tee-shirt or religous or vulgar or whatever.

I doubt it is an anti-religion rant by the NFL; every time a player gets injured, players from both teams get together on the field and pray.

We have all heard players on TV thank God for helping him make a play, or achieve an award, etc.

I don't understand why the league wouldn't let RG III wear a non-Nike shirt but didn't do anything about the other player's non-Nuke shirt.
