PFT reports journalist Frank Deford says Roger Goodell is now a GHOST

Sounds like Roger dug a hole too deep for himself this time. May not be able to weezle his way of this one!

In the opinion of veteran journalist and commentator Frank Deford, the damage already is done.

“I think he moral sway has absolutely evaporated,” Deford said on HBO’s Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel, via SportsBusiness Daily. “He’s a ghost now. I don’t know when he’ll leave but I don’t think he can continue to have any kind of real credibility. I think that the league needs is somebody from the outside. Remember, Goodell grew up in the league. He’s a lifer. He only sees it from a football point of view.”

Roger doesn't call, he doesn't write, he doesn't show up to make BIG press conferences on BULL-*HIT he makes up anymore....

Nobody respects him anymore. Major sponsors have made their concerns fact that he is a problem. If the owners don't deal with it they are going to lose a fraction of their profits. Thing about profit loss, without action, the spiral will continue. Get rid of him. His policies and guidelines of morality are why we they are in this mess. He doesn't get it and never will. He's all over the place. He destroys the Saints with no evidence but when real credible evidence is presented he covers it up if it looks bad on the NFL. Can't have someone like that in power. They will attempt to destroy anything and everything that gets in the way. That approach never works.
