That's a HUGE story here and it's been going on for years.

McMahon's dad wrote a letter to BYU every year asking them to put his son in the BYU HOF. The Salt Lake Tribune (which has no love for the Mormon Church) would print the letter. They were often sad, going on about how he was an old man and he may not live to see it if they waited much longer.

Local sports reporters were calling out BYU's hypocrisy openly on TV.

I'm not a big fan of McMahon or BYU but I'm glad they made things right. It's a shame it took them this long.
