An ugly fight among fans at Sunday’s 49ers game left two hurt and two others arrested.

Santa Clara Police tell ABC 7 that two male victims were taken to the hospital, and one of them has severe head injuries. Two men were arrested for felony assault.

The video of the fight is appalling, and it’s all too familiar to fans who have seen incidents like this at NFL games before. The vast majority of NFL fans go to watch a football game, not to get into a brawl, but the few who engage in violence are a major problem, and a problem the NFL hasn’t been able to stop despite public statements about wanting to improve the in-stadium experience for fans and making security a priority.

This doesn’t appear to be a case of violence among fans of rival teams, as all four men seen on the video were wearing 49ers jerseys. Police have said nothing about whether the fans knew each other or had any previous run-in.

This is sad, and the fact that they were not even rival fans shows that these guys were just drunken idiots in general. Glad they were caught, hope they get made an example of.

One guy treated and released. The other guy in serious condition.

That's another nail in the coffin of what is my dwindling faith in humanity.

SANTA CLARA (KRON) — Two men are in custody in Santa Clara after a fight in a restroom at Levi’s Stadium moments at the start of the Niners game agaisnt the Kansas City Chiefs.
Police say staff members alerted officers at the stadium of the fight on the 300 level on the stadium’s north end at about 1:20 p.m.
When the police arrived they say they located 34-year old Dario Rebollero and 27-year old Amador Rebollero who had fled from the restroom. Both were quickly placed in custody.
A tape of the fight posted to YouTube shows several men exchanging punches and one man who hit his head on the concrete floor.
“The two victims of the fight were transported to a local hospital for their injuries” Santa Clara police say in a written statement. “One victim was treated and released and the other victim is listed in serious condition.”
One witness says the fight, which appears to mostly involve people wearing 49ers gear, happened because of “impatience for an open stall.”
