Karma?
Loomis cut him for cap space

That would be Loomis karama. I'm talking Sproles' karma.

Am I really the only hippie up in here? People getting confused by the karma and looking up definitions? Have mercy.

Sproles makes unnecessary and unfounded comments about the organization. Unnecessary and unfounded...meaning untrue of course. Tried to make himself feel better by talking smack about an organization that paid him MILLIONS for his services then made a BUSINESS decision that had precisely zero to so with respect.

That's bad karma people. It has nothing to do with me or the Saints or Loomis or any of you. That Darren's bad karma, and it doesn't stop to consider how likeable he might be.

It's karma. It's real. Here endeth the lesson...I think...

Where's his wife? She should be releasing a interview anytime soon, spouting off again.

Sproles talks smack about the Saints organization disrespecting him and karma in the form of the Giants defense turns around and injures his knee, has to get invasive knee surgery, and then has to rehab it for at least 2 weeks. All because he felt and said he was disrespected.

But Sproles was disrespected, considering the Saints let him and his family find out about the trade through Twitter. Twitter. For a huge major life move for Sproles and his family, the Saints let it get to Twitter before letting the man know something about getting traded. Sounds like disrespect to me, and I'd be upset as well. He didn't even come across as an @$$ about it, anyways, and Brees said he'd have felt the same way in that instance.

I do understand Karma pretty well...studied it in Okinawa for 3 years and live it in one form or another every day. I also posted the political correctness definition because I was being accused of it and I wanted to clarify my stance. And I reckon I ain't hippie enough or just too stupid to understand karma.

I'm leaning towards too stupid. You win.

I'd imagine twitter is a whole lot faster than the process the Saints had to follow. The tweet could have gone out two seconds after someone found out a deal had been reached in principle. The Saints probably aren't going to tell a player (or his sleazy agent) anything until the deal is finalized.

I suspect we'll see a lot more of this type of so called disrespect as long as instant social media exists.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Saints found out that Sproles found out before the Saints even finalized the deal.

Right. A guy says he felt disrespected by a team he obviously still wanted to be with and "karma" rewards him with a knee injury. Logical.

Adam Shefter of ESPN leaked it. They're the ones who didn't wait until Sproles and his wife had been informed. Who's to say his source wasn't in Philly.

Hurt or not, he is making more money there than he did here. Prior to his injury, he was flourishing with his new team in a way that was making headlines. If you are laughing and gleefully calling that "karma" then you are basically just reveling in the fact that he got injured, because you have NO OTHER LEG TO STAND ON in your argument besides cheering for the injury. Which is pathetic and crass. This thread title and its whole concept is full of fail.

Re: Sproles Disrespected By Karma: Tears his MCL

I love this thread. A few of you got your feelings on your sleeve.
Nobody, myself included, wants to see Sproles or anyone else get hurt. At least 3 of you can (and should) get over yourselves.

But I sure was proud of that whipping we put on Favre a few years ago too. Most of you were too, I have no doubt. Wink wink. Nudge nudge.

I hate...no loathe...A grown man saying he was "disrespected", even if he was slighted in some way. A grown man keeps his mouth shut and corrects the problem in whatever manner is necessary. A grown man doesn't go public. Not a mature grown man.

When you waive your hands and jump up and down and in as loud a voice as possible do all that you can do to make sure everyone knows you feel, "disrespected"...well pot, meet kettle. Anybody here believe the Saints as an organization or any one employed by the Saints has or had some "disrespect" going on for Darren?

Yeah. Me neither. Sproles and his wife threw what amounted to a very public tantrum. Good for them. NOW I DO have less respect. You bet your red wagon. How spoiled must one be? AND, once wasn't enough. First the wife get her tantrum on. Then Sproles gets his feelings documented too. And, amazingly I thought because I didn't think he was that kind of man and was willing to forgive him the first tantrum, he's back at it in public just a few weeks ago being all disrespected and stuff.

Sean ever say Roger disrespected him? No. Never will. Know why? Because it's classless that's why and Sean is a grown man. Sean has chosen to be a man and rise above. And it's not even a good comparison because Sean truly was "disrespected". The only thing that happened to Sproles was he got his feelings hurt.

Anyone who thinks I enjoy the fact that Sproles got hurt can go jump in the lake. I'm a football fan so that's just stupid. If you have so much respect for Sproles that you'd connect those unconnectable dots do let Darren know because he needs to feel the love. Please hold hands with all the other butt-hurt people who feel they have been disrespected in some way by me by recognizing karma's role in life and pointing it out, and take them down with you. Clearly the heard needs thinning.

Everybody on the Internet is a moral compass.

So because YOU feel a man doesn't complain, he just takes it in the ass with no lube and doesn't say anything, it justifies "karma" bringing upon an injury? So Sproles is "classless" for complaining about being disrespected, but it's not classless to complain about the fact that he said it or make a thread about his injury when he doesn't play for this team anymore? It's not adding up.

Re: Sproles Disrespected By Karma: Tears his MCL

Wow. All this simply because some of us thought this thread's title was "full of fail" and tasteless/classless/tacky...then gets initiated the "thin the herd" logic, but just as long as the herd agrees with you and your reasoning.

But you didn't disrespect me at all; I don't know you. I am not butt-hurt by you either. I just told you my opinion of your statement. If you don't like it, then we'll have to agree to disagree.

Funny...at least 3 of us can get over ourselves, but you follow that up by a thesis validating how right you are. Got it.
