Jerry Jones probably isn't going to like this news, but the Dallas Cowboys are no longer America's team. A Harris Poll of 2,543 adults conducted between Sept. 10-17 found that the Cowboys are actually America's fourth favorite team.

America's new favorite team is apparently the Denver Broncos, who check in at No. 1 in the Harris Poll -- And the Broncos are very aware of their new honor.

Jerry Jones probably isn't going to like this news, but the Dallas Cowboys are no longer America's team. A Harris Poll of 2,543 adults conducted between Sept. 10-17 found that the Cowboys are actually America's fourth favorite team.

America's new favorite team is apparently the Denver Broncos, who check in at No. 1 in the Harris Poll -- And the Broncos are very aware of their new honor.

The Cowboys had previously been voted No. 1 for the past seven years. The last team to rank No. 1 before the Cowboys was the Steelers in 2006.

There have been a total of 14 Harris Polls taken since 1998 and the Cowboys have been voted No. 1 in nine of those.

The Broncos can probably thank Peyton Manning for their ranking. In 2011, Denver was America's 17th favorite team. By 2013, the Broncos ranking had shot up to No. 3 (There was no poll taken in 2012).

The biggest year-to-year jump in the poll went to the Detroit Lions, who moved up from 22nd in 2013 to 13th in 2014.

The two teams that have fallen the most since 2013 are the Colts and Ravens. Both Baltimore and Indy fell seven spots in this year's poll. The Ravens dropped from 16th to 23rd, while the Colts dropped from 19th to 26th.

You might be wondering why a team quarterbacked by Andrew Luck fell so far. The guess here is that Jim Irsay's arrest probably didn't help things.

As for the Ravens, this poll was taken just a few days after the second Ray Rice video was released, so as you can imagine, that probably didn't help.

There's good news for the Jaguars in this poll. After coming in last place in every year since 2009, the Jags now are tied for last place -- with Tennessee. That seems to be a slight improvement.

Also, just because the Broncos are America's favorite team doesn't mean America thinks Denver is going to win the Super Bowl, that honor belongs to Seattle. Twenty-eight percent of all respondents think the Seahawks will take home the Lombardi trophy this year. The Broncos got the second most votes at 19 percent.
