RIP - Stuart Scott
Stuart Scott dies at age of 49
ESPN: The Worldwide Leader In Sports "He didn't just push the envelope," says sports radio host and former ESPN anchor Dan Patrick. "He bulldozed it." And he saved his best for his last year on the air. At the ESPYS on July 16, shortly before his 49th birthday and following another round of cancer surgery, Stuart accepted the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance with strength, humor, grace and these eloquent words: "When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live." |

Re: RIP - Stuart Scott
Rest in Peace, Mr. Scott. He was way too young, but this MAN was graceful and strong in the face of this disease's certain death.
Such a talent, such love for the job he did, and such enthusiasm for just sports in general. He will be missed by me & millions of others. |
Re: RIP - Stuart Scott
One day soon, cancer will be like smallpox or the flu. I just wish it was today. I'll miss Stuart Scott.
