Re: Role reversal: Late call costs Cowboys
One of the UK comentators said what I agreed with
If he was a yard closer and the ball broke the plain of the goal line but still came out when he hit the ground, it would have been ruled a TD and he still technically has not completed the process of the catch by NFL rules Obviously I don't care about the cowboys, I just think it was a very good catch by Bryant and in my opinion the rule should be changed |

Don't like the Cowboys. Didn't like last weeks call either but they got robbed in this one. How come it always seems Green Bay gets crappy calls in their favor?

Re: Role reversal: Late call costs Cowboys
They need to change the possession rules for receiver. It's bogus that the ground can't cause a fumble but it can cause an incompletion. And on the defensive side they need to chill out on all the Pass Interference calls and let the guys play.
I told my dad the unspoken rule in the NFL right now is that if you are the home team, especially in the playoffs, you can expect all the close-calls and replays to go your way. I think the zebras are instructed by the league to call in the home team's favor. It's so obvious. |

Re: Role reversal: Late call costs Cowboys
To be honest, I don't think it would have mattered because GB was marching down the field on the final possession and could have scored if they wanted.
