Physics Professor Refutes Delfate-Gate With Science | The Daily Caller

Who cares really? The Colts got their ass handed to them before halftime (deflated balls) and even worse after halftime(normal pressure balls).

Article lacks real scientific data, just assumptions. The sad part is the NFL could have got to the bottom of it very easily by running basic tests with balls and temperature but refuse to move this forward before the SB. Even going with the article, the ball was deflated more than the 1.6lbs from my understanding, I believe it was 2. If that's the case the theory falls apart rather quickly sine there is still another 1/2 lb roughly unaccounted for. Science can't explain the rest of it.

Sacrifice the ball boy already! ... throw him under the bus, hang him, tazer him, let the Colt's mascot drag him around the field for an hour, ban him for life, tar & feather him, waterboard him, ride him out on a rail, make him clean the stadium, give him Failclown season tickets and make him attend every game in it's entirety ... it's been a week already and I honestly have not seen a single story on the SuperBowl!

Failclown season tickets? Damn man that's cruel and unusual.

Kraft and Goodell have finally found their fall guy that they’ve paid to take the hit. lol

"Per Glazer, the league has interviewed a Patriots locker room attendant who allegedly took footballs from the officials locker room after they had been inspected and approved “to another area on way to field” before the start of the game. There’s reportedly video of this attendant with the balls, although Glazer adds that the league’s investigators are “still gauging” if the attendant, called a “strong person of interest,” had anything to do with the deflation."

Someone would have to offer him a nice amount of coin to come clean. I guess TMZ has become the defacto investigating authority for the NFL. They may offer him enough to set the record straight.

Always liked Jeff Blake. He had the best looking deep throws and for as good as Brees is, he is no Jeff Blake in play action. Blake could really sell the sizzle.

I disagree though on that it's not a big deal. If it was not a big deal then why even do it. It's absolutely a big deal if you are checking all the balls before the game on how they feel and adjusting them. Can't do that stuff anymore, along with a lot of other things from 15 years ago. As I use to tell my Soldiers, don't do that stuff and if you do I hope you get caught.

Re: Report: NFL Probing NE for Deflating Balls

It's a big deal because it's a rule that was broken. Let's not miss the point here. I don't care if Brady let's air out...or anyone else, but if Drew doesn't do it because it's a rule and Brady could care less and does it anyway...well...

Re: Report: NFL Probing NE for Deflating Balls

What will be interesting is next year if their fumble ratio falls back into a normal range with the rest of the league. After a few years then yes, I think the probability that they were doing it is all but confirmed.

Belicheat has been doing this stuff for a long time. He use to watch and study game film with his Dad in high school. He knows the game through and through and is a master of finding cracks that give him an advantage.

He knew what he was doing when he was filming practices, knew what he was doing creating confusion on legal receivers (he cheated there as well but it was not caught at the time), and he knew about the air pressure. He full of !@#$ and I hope he pays another steep fine.

Now they're saying only one ball was underinflated, ... I think the whole thing was just trumped up so the media and everyone involved could just talk about "balls" for two weeks without being censored,.

Of the 11 deflated footballs used in the New England Patriots' win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship, only one was well below the legal limit of 12.5 PSI. That one ball was a full two pounds under while the other 10 were just a tick below, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. That news counters previous reports that said officials found 11 of 12 balls deflated by two pounds of pressure or more ... read more:
