After all of the crap Falcons fans gave us as a result of the false bounty accusations this is going to be sweet, sweet revenge. LOL!

Re: Falcons face possible fines & loss of picks

It has to be picks. Smitty is gone & any fine would be chump change for blank.

NFL is feeling the heat, not the time to be jerkin' around & playing favorites. I expect punishment equally...remember "Ignorance is not an excuse" ROGER!

Re: Falcons face possible fines & loss of picks

This is what I think is funniest about this....your team AND its fans are so pathetic that you're willing to "pipe in crowd noise".

Ha! That's really sad.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for any fines or punishment they'll receive, but getting caught doing something as pathetic as piping in fake crowd noise is shameful and embarrassing enough. What a bunch of losers.

Piping in fake crowd noise... Hiring a marketing firm to come up with gems such as "Rise up"... They want a passionate fan base so bad lol.

They can suspend the Mike Smith for a year... oh wait! Well, maybe draft picks taken away by RG... and Arthur Blank can spit shine SP's shoes for a year!

Re: Falcons face possible fines & loss of picks

When I was in the dome, I think might have noticed it, but if it was artificial sound, I could barely hear it. If the pick we lose is higher than a fifth, I'll be pretty mad. I don't really think it affected the games because there were games that our own offense had to go to a silent count because the opposing fans were too loud. If it turns out that it's true, we should be punished, and I want whoever is responsible suspended.

Re: Falcons face possible fines & loss of picks

Forget fines & loss of draft picks, chaining the exits after each opening kick-off and making the fans stay the entire game should be punishment enough,.

Plug up the sewers again that was well worthy of Mike the "Rat Man" Smith. I heard that Smith and Billick are opening up a Roto-Rooter franchise together.

Piping in crowd noise is the management's way of saying that the fans suck more than the team.

Think about it. They can fire the coach and cut dead wood players.....but they will ALWAYS be stuck with those same fans.

Time to relocate.

Atlanta is a front-runner town. The fan support our teams get is purely based on the product on the field. Just look at the Hawks. They're taking the east in the NBA by storm, and now Phillips Arena is finally filling up. There's so much excitement in Atlanta around the Hawks now.

Smitty is all red in the face already. Vst that rougue roger. Still cooks tbe books to.make him shine. Does the fat head.do.any.jobs correctly would we ever see our 2nd round pick back on goodells flops. Or could we go.legal and sue the bacon off the nfl or him for over ,cooking the fines and suspentions on saints.

This quote from an earlier post pretty much sums it up, ... how in the hell does this happen? IDK, I'm thinking about using that as a signature, :

Indicative of most large cities.

Madison Square Garden is a ghost town right now.

Blank admits to it. I guess he is hoping if they cooperate, the penalty won't be too bad. Don't see the league coming down hard on this either way.

Atlanta Falcons owner addresses fake crowd noise investigation - NFL - SI.com

Re: Falcons face possible fines & loss of picks

Remember how swiftly Roger acted in handing out our punishment for supposedly having a bounty? Now Der Kommisar is dragging his feet and saying they have no proof that New England is involved. The NFL is feeding false information to the American public. They took a page from FOX noise(news) spewing propaganda, because people are sheep and don't think for themselves.

In a couple of months there will be a little blurb that no evidence was found to incriminate the cheaters and the NFL will drop the matter. :brood:
