Reggie Bush has landed in San Francisco.

The 49ers have signed Bush today, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Bush heads to San Francisco after a two-year stint in Detroit that started with a solid 2013 season but ended with a disappointing 2014 season. The Lions cut Bush after the season.

San Francisco will be Bush’s fourth NFL stop, after five years in New Orleans, two in Miami and two in Detroit. At age 30 he’s not quite the playmaker he once was, and he won’t make up for the loss of Frank Gore all by himself. But he can still be a solid contributor in a limited role.

Bush had also drawn interest from the Patriots, who may keep searching for a replacement for the departed Shane Vereen.

I wish Reggie nothing but the best, but, it will be tough to do that while he is wearing that uniform. I mean, it's not the Falcons, but, it's still bad.

im interested in what he received in comparison to cj. I am guessing it is not far off and with cj being younger I am glad we took him. poor reg going to a team that appears too be in shambles.

#shudder ... I wouldn't wish that fanbase on anyone, and I liked Reggie, despite 2014. Very personable, professional guy ... seriously would like to see him behind the broadcasting booth on Sundays, .

I hate to sound like a Negative Nancy like this, and I'm certainly NOT wishing injury on the guy, but I'm worried -- I hope for Reggie's sake that San Fran has figured out their turf problems with that grass out there in their new stadium. I could see Reggie twisting or cutting and going down with a pointless but serious injury, on account that long, soggy, messy grass they use out there in San Fran. He already got hurt out there in the old Candlestick, once before, diving on a muffed punt return, when huge chunks of dirt and grass were giving out under players' feet all night.
