I also believe that like the MLB, if a QB gets caught, he should be punished... And I'm well aware of Blake's "career arc" with the Saints. His injury paved the way for a couple years of the best QB play the Saints had seen in a decade, if not ever imo. I still wonder what could have been with Blake though... |

Ironically, despite hatching "Bountygate (2009-11)" the New Orleans Saints are one of the few NFL teams who, this decade, have not had a player suspended or penalized more than $25,000 for a cheap shot or dirty tactics. Jimmy Graham dunked a football over the goalpost and was hit with a $30,000 fine, but that's about it...besides the whole Bountygate-thing, that is.
Ironically? as in, 'we've proven that you did this, but you never did it so badly that it was fined'. |
