Re: SeaHags can no longer use 12th man - called the 12s now!

A Seahawks spokesperson said the team made the move because "Seahawks fans have organically shifted to 12s."

Organically shifted? WTF is organically shifted? Only a left coast team uses a term like that, .

Its a way of saying "we were forced to stop stealing the Aggies thunder" without actually admitting it.

Re: SeaHags can no longer use 12th man - called the 12s now!

I still think it's amusing that a fan base whom I don't remember anyone talking about a few years ago suddenly thinks they are the best fans on the planet. Where were they, say, five years ago? Anyone can be a front runner, and bring in manufactured noise along with that, to try to set meaningless records when things are going well.

Now that Russel Wilson got his obligatory -way more than he deserves- deal that every QB seems to be getting, you're going to start losing core players in the coming years. Let's see how you handle that... "12's".

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Russell Wilson got way overpaid

Give him our defense and see how well he does then, the team had carried him for years, all he has to do is play mediocre to win.

I got a feeling calling them the "12s" is gonna' set off all sorts of fireworks, ... might be good for a little trolling action, maybe call 'em the "organically shifted 12's" or something like that.

Meaningless records? Like Dan Mario's Passing Records?

Negative. I'm referring to their crowd noise decibel record that they like to talk about, as if it means anything. These aren't fans with any sort of history for being anything out of the ordinary. They also brought in these noise making, whatever the heck they are, things. Some sort of wind up horn or something... I don't remember what it was, exactly, but I saw it when we played them up there a couple years back.

I can definitely imagine that if the seahawks are getting beat down in a game, and the fans go silent, people will say that the "12's" are organically shifting toward the exits.
