Breaking down the NFC South
For the rest of the season
Panthers 3-0 Falcons 3-0 Bucs 1-2 Saints 0-3 Week 4 Carolina @TB-TB, they are due to win and have the weapons advantage. Panthers 3-1, TB 2-2 Atlanta vs.Houston-Atlanta. Falcons 4-0 NO vs.Dallas-Us, It just has to be. Saints 1-3 Week 5 Atlanta vs.Washington-Atlanta. Atlanta 5-0 Carolina Bye TB vs.Jacksonville-Jacksonville, don't think TB can win this after a big win and don't think Jville doesn't put up a fight after the previous two road games against juggernauts NE and Indy, where they have not and will not. TB 2-3 NO @Philadelphia-Us. Eagles don't look good at all offensively, and we will win this or the other. Saints 2-3 Week 6 Atlanta@New Orleans-Us. I have to stand by this. Falcons 5-1, Saints 3-3 Carolina@Seattle-Seattle. Carolina 3-2 TB Bye Week 7 Atlanta@Tennessee-Atlanta, however the Tennessee is looking better than people expected. Marriotta is for real. Titans have no running game consistency. Falcons 6-1 Carolinavs.Philadelphia-Carolina. Panthers 4-2 NO@Indy-This is the game we have to win. Let's say we do since Indy does not have no physical receivers that can push for a couple extra yards. Saints 4-3 TB@Washington-TB, the road teams have won the last three meetings. But TB wins here or Philadelphia. Bucs 3-3 Week 8 TB@Atlanta-Atlanta because they are at home. Falcons 7-1, Bucs 3-4 Carolina vs.Indianapolis-Indy. Panthers 4-3 NO vs.NYG-Us. Saints 5-3(move into second) Week 9 Atlanta@SF-Atlanta Falcons 8-1 NO vs.Tennessee-I'm seeing a trap here, so Tennessee. Saints 5-4 Carolina vs.GB-GB Panthers 4-4 TB vs.NYG-NYG. Bucs 3-5 Week 10 Atlanta Bye NO@Washington-Washington, a win here or Philly. Saints 5-5 Carolina@Tennessee-Tennessee, they have a offense and can win at home. Panthers 4-5 TB vs.Dallas-Dallas, Romo should be back here. Still cowboys defense will give TB problems. Bucs 3-6 Week 11 Atlanta vs.Indianapolis-I keep going back and forth on this but given colts oline and lack of physical playmakers, Atlanta. Falcons 9-1 NO Bye Carolina vs.Washington-Carolina Panthers 5-5(back in second) TB@Philadelphia-Philly(see NO@Washington). Bucs 3-7 Week 12 Atlanta vs.Minnesota-There is reason for optimism here given Minnesota's recent play. They have shut down the pass all year. But the fourth is where they get burned if TB can get no lead going. Falcons 10-1 Carolina@Dallas-Dallas, they have owned them. Panthers 5-6 NO@Houston-Us(if going by the best case scenario of winning in Indy and here instead of losing) Saints 6-5 TB@Indy-Indy. Bucs 3-8 Week 13 Atlanta@TB-Atlanta, Atlanta has more going at this point. Falcons 11-1, Bucs 3-9 Carolina@New Orleans-Us, we get revenge and get even. Saints 7-5, Panthers 5-7 Week 14 Atlanta@Carolina-Carolina, bcak to back road games kills Atlanta here and Carolina won't quit just yet. Falcons 11-2, Panthers 6-7 NO@TB-Given the record, can we do it? Can we avoid the sweep? I'm saying no. Saints 7-6, Bucs 4-9 Week 15 Atlanta@Jacksonville-Atlanta. Falcons 12-2 NO vs.Detroit-Us. Lions already looking to be done by this point. Saints 8-6 Carolina@NYG-Carolina. I feel Carolina wins here or Dallas. Panthers 7-7 TB@St.Louis-St.Louis, but it really doesn't matter who wins this crappy game between two non-contenders. Bucs 4-10 Week 16 Atlanta vs.Carolina-Atlanta, they win at home. Falcons 13-2, Panthers 7-8(Panthers probably eliminated here) NO vs.Jacksonville-Us. Saints 9-6 TB vs.Chicago-Chicago, but again it doesn't matter. Bucs 4-11 Week 17 NO@Atlanta-Us. Atlanta has no reason to win here because they will be locked in the 2 seed. And I think we can beat them anyway. Saints 10-6, Falcons 13-3 TB@Carolina-TB, Carolina will not care. Panthers 7-9, Bucs 5-11 Now if we lose to Indy and Houston, this could be 8-8. But maybe we can at least beat Indy/Houston or Tennessee. Next up I will round out the likely wild card contenders. |
