So what is the mood here?? Blow up the team and start over or try to win with Brees? |

Re: N/S sort of - Weakest Jimmy Graham Block
who here ever said or even entertained the idea that Jimmy was a blocker? he sets a mean pick and sets solid screens. that is it
that is why i lmao when jimmy got signed as TE and not a WR. Dude is the walking definition of a man without a position in the NFL. |

Re: N/S sort of - Weakest Jimmy Graham Block
Seattle fans are already fed up with him. From what little I saw (last half of 2nd quarter) they are really missing Unger too. Not that he is exactly all world for us, but he was in that system a while and had continuity with the other players. Lions defense were getting some great sacks and pressure.
I think we got the better end of the deal in the long run. |

Then you roll the dice on a franchise qb.

It's difficult to tell, the rookies we have on D seem perfect pieces to build upon - Kikaha, Anthony, Breaux and Damian Swann In my opinion Payton refused to Address WR and Whilst Willie Snead has been a very nice surprise so far, teams can key on Brandin Cooks because at this moment in time, the names Marques Colston, Brandon Coleman, Josh Hill or Ben Watson do not exactly strike fear in opponents hearts. Hopefully Spiller finally getting healthy with play a big role. Next offseason and draft will be key in my opinion, I believe it will be the continued process of retooling for life after Brees, which I think is the 2017 season - I don't personally see us resigning a guy that would be 38 Years old unless he looks completely dominant. |

Re: N/S sort of - Weakest Jimmy Graham Block
You know, it's funny... Everyone criticized Jimmy for wanting to be paid like a WR, which was exactly how we used him. Now that he's actually playing TE he's horrible. Seems like Jimmy had a point after all.

But WR's are never ever used as TE's. He is what he is, a great pass catching TE that just doesn't excel at blocking. |
