this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; Peyton is fundamentally the best QB's to play. Operative word is fundamentally. If I had a choice to watch Eli or Peyton play; I choose Eli. I teared up when Peyton was benched. And it was the game he toppled ...

I teared up when Peyton was benched.
And it was the game he toppled Brett's record.

Sad because it is an end of an Era.

Even Papa Manning hates football.

Yeah I'm sure that's what Archie told his limo Driver. lol
History will probably never see a Father and his two son's
as successful NFL QB's. Not to mention Cooper although he
was a WR probably would have been in the NFL if it weren't
for his spinal stenosis.

Yeah, I was thinking this was gonna' be his last season after watching him the past few weeks. That KC game was hard to watch up until they benched him. Like to see him go out on a high note, but I dunno ....

Re: Manning

I read an obscure article somewhere about the toll football has taken on his body, man is very beat up. End of the day though, if that's what you live for do it until you can't anymore. Recurring theme with older players. He'll play until they lock him out of the building. Have to respect it.

Re: Manning

Just like the "Bus" saw a clip on him needing two canes to get him to the whirlpool in the morning before he can get out and walk. I know running backs get pounded the worse but QB's have to be second.
