Re: Who will beat the Panthers?

Look at it this way. History of recent teams with the bigger wins at home.

Last year
Seattle blows out Carolina
Green Bay holds off Dallas

Seattle beats Green Bay

2013
Denver blows out San Diego most of game but wins close at end
NE blows out colts

Denver beats NE

2012
Atlanta blows out Seattle most of game but ends up letting up late, and winning at end.
SF is competitive early with GB but pulls away in second half

SF beats Atlanta

2011
NE blows out Denver
Baltimore barely beats Houston

NE beats Baltimore

Carolina blows out Seattle first half and gets shut out second half but still holds on by 7.
Arizona struggles early with GB but comes on late, takes lead, gets tied, wins in OT.

Those signs would point to Carolina winning.

Now lets compare the opponents beaten in divisional
Last year
Dallas>Carolina.
GB should have beaten Seattle but played too conservative.

2013
San Diego>Indy. It may not have seemed like that but SD at the end was clicking. Indy was having problems without Wayne in games that mattered. Denver beat NE.

2012
GB>Seattle. Seattle was hot but GB's offense forced SF to score. In a way it was even, but SF was better coached and won in Atlanta. As Atlanta tried to lose to Seattle and SF fought to win against GB.

2011
Houston>Denver. But NE destroyed Denver like they should have a team like that and Baltimore barely held on to beat Houston. Of course it was a rematch but so was NE and Denver. NE beat Baltimore barely.

Seattle>GB. GB had problems offensively but did they have a sudden spark in the playoffs or was it matchups? Seattle was playing lights out but we saw in Minnesota and against St.Louis they could be stopped. But their offense was better clicking and defense until then was good as well. It would seem Carolina has the upper hand here.

Now how sb matches up if Carolina gets there.

Based on recent participants

Last year
Seattle wins decisively over Carolina and rallys against GB.
NE wins a rally against Baltimore and blows out Indy.
Baltimore was better than Carolina. GB was better than Indy but NE blew out Indy, who wasn't that much worse. NE won sb.

2013
Seattle won decisively over us, a wild one against SF
Denver won decisively and close late against both SD and NE.

NO and SF were better than SD and NE. Seattle wins sb.

2012
SF beats GB and wins in Atlanta, SF pulls away late against GB and rallys in Atlanta in second half.
Baltimore rallys big in Denver and wins decisively in NE.

Denver and NE were better than GB and Atlanta. Baltimore wins sb.

2011
NYG wins in GB decisively and SF in OT in a close low scoring game.
NE blows out Denver and holds off Baltimore.

NYG won two road games, were more tested. GB was better than Denver by a mile but Baltimore was better than SF. NYG won sb.

So far Carolina had a blowout first half that resulted in a close win late against Seattle. I expect them to win by less than 7 against Arizona if they do. If Denver gets to sb they had a ugly win against a banged up Pittsburgh and might win the same way against NE if they do. And the current Pittsburgh is not better than Seattle. Arizona appears better than NE based on playing Philadelphia. So that helps Carolina's odds. If NE were to win, they held on against a KC rally to win. KC is even with Seattle. They win in Denver it will be close. Denver is not better than Arizona.

It all favors Carolina. I'm gonna be sick.

If Carolina wins it all, I'll just consider the silver lining. It would make the Falcons the only team in the division to not have won a Superbowl.

I have no problem with Riverboat Ron, they got rid of Steve Smith Sr. who was always a bad rub for Saints fans.
However not a big fan of Jerry Richardson when he mocked Manning and Brees during the players negotiations.
And I can't see myself buying into the Cam Newton Show either.

I am still clinging to my predication that the kittens won't win the Super Bowl if they make it that far!

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?

Whoever it is, I just want it to be mostly Cam's fault. I want to see him implode and then sit sulking on the sideline while his backup comes in to close out the game. I'm sick of him on every possible level. Never have liked him or had much respect for him, but this year has taken me over the edge. He had a good year, I'll give him that much.. but the constant verbal ejaculate spewing from the mouths of every talking head over his supposed god-like abilities is sickening.. and his on field antics get worse every year.

Arizona, New England, Denver.. doesn't matter to me. Just so someone leaves that f*cktard heartbroken and defeated somewhere along the way, I'll be fine with it.

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?

if the Panthers make the Super Bowl, I really don't know if I'll even watch. There's no way I could watch any of the coverage before the game because it would be Scam 24/7 getting all the credit for the team's success
