this is a discussion within the NFL Community Forum; I would hate to see them win the SB. They are dominating Seahags 31-0 at halftime right now. I really thought seattle was the only team in the post-season that could beat them. Which team left is the best bet ...

Who will beat the Panthers?

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?
It's their year. A lot of their games were won on flukes or lucky breaks, everything is turning up roses for them.... the ball is just bouncing their way this year and there's really nothing anyone can do. They won that Thanksgiving day game with an early Christmas present of pick 6's from Tony Romo. They've gotten lucky on calls, no-calls, penalties, they've had good luck with injuries and caught their opponents at favorable times, and everything else under the sun. Some players toss the ball after a score and get a flag for excessive celebrating, Cam taunts his opponents and does an hour-long one man Broadway production in the end zone and on the sideline, running all over the stadium after every score, and never gets called for it. It's just their year.

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?
The Panthers will beat the Cardinals next week. Carson Palmer is mediocre at best and Carolina's defense will rattle him. Hate to say it, but I think Carolina might be getting their first Lombardi this year.

If they get there New England will find a way to scam Cam. Just ask Andy Reid about his headsets which kept cutting out at Gillette Stadium. Riverboat Ron will never imagine the dirty tactics Belichick will pull out of his hat.

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?
I've thought for weeks, going back to when they were undefeated, that they'd lose to Seattle or Arizona. Then they lost to the freaking Falcons... The Panthers are not going to luck their way all the way to a championship, in my opinion.
They barely hung on against Seattle today and Arizona is a better team on both sides of the ball then Seattle. I still think they lose to the Cardinals. |

You beat the Kittens by attacking their safeties down the field. Sure AZ didn't look that great vs GB but I think they were shaking off the rust.
Redbirds will win on Sunday. |

Re: Who will beat the Panthers?
The kittens didn't win as much as the PEDhawks lost the game.
Carolina has replaced the failclowns as my MOST hated team; I will even lower my standards to wanting the Patricheats to win if they play them in the Super Bowl! |
