No one is talking about steroids or HGH, if that was all this article was about I would be in 100% agreement with you.

But this is a sexual assault allegation, that the Mannings felt was serious enough to lie about, cover up and would have framed an innocent player if they could have .

I remember when he was drafted and there was some chatter about certain teams should not even consider drafting him meaning he would not play for that team, he would just sit out. That really stuck with me because it's circumventing the whole reason and process of the draft. Yeah, your right to sit out but who does that or even makes that threat, especially for someone who declares it's not about him but the "team" and coaches....I always looked at him and his Dad in a different light after that. I don't know if this SH story is true but I would not be surprised at all.

This is laughable, like people always act in public like they do at home. Think about it, Peyton was about to be the #1 pick in the draft back when it was worth all kinds of crazy money thanks to no pay slotting. I don't blame them for wanting this to be kept quiet.

Besides one of main "victims" has already settled out of court twice with the Mannings so this digging up of old news sounds like someone needs more money. REMEMBER innocent until proven guilty

What you are conveniently forgetting is that the victim in this ISN'T bringing it up! King wrote a piece about how differently Manning was portrayed after losing to the Saints in the Super Bowl and how Cam is treated after his loss. Someone mentioned on King's Facebook about this incident with Peyton while he was at Tennessee. King ran a search and found the story and did some research. The Mannings violated the no-disclosure rule after it was settled. If Manning hadn't hung his nuts in a trainer's face that was simply doing her job and then lied and tried to cover it up he wouldn't have to worry about keeping it quiet!!!!!!

besides the "victim" settled out of court with them TWICE so lets not make it sound like she's an angel. sounds like someone who can't save their money. Really who settles, twice?

I did many a stupid thing when I was that age too, just wasn't the QB at an average SEC school.

If you or I did what it is alleged Payton did, WE would have been fired, arrested, etc.

Just because Peyton is a big-time SEC QB should he not be held to the same standard?

She didn't settle twice; she was awarded $300,000 because Payton included it in his book and was proven to have LIED about it.

Okay so the first time Naughright's lawsuit against Manning was settled in 1997 with the agreement that she leave the university. Second time she got money due to "false" reports in a book. Still, with the statue of limitations passed, nothing is going to happen
