Curtis Martin - A Football Life
Just finished watching the NFL films feature and wondered if anyone else had seen it yet?
Just wanted to say, I've seen the highlights of his playing days but I never truly knew how incredible he is as a person. He went through a lot, his father beating up and threatening to kill his mom on countless occasions. Having to flee their home as his dad smashed his way in. Trying to reconcile with his father and finding out his dad only wanted his money, not to see his son. His mother deserves some type of award, managing to raise a man like that whilst working 3 jobs and trying to escape an abusive relationship, really powerful stuff. |
