So now that Foster isn't the only one, and they're both offering the same explanation, what are your thoughts? My 2 cents.. it seems that younger generations are taking a bit longer to understand that consequences apply to them as well. I expect this is especially true of star athletes in college. They're kinda like demigods on campus. Surrounded by normal folks and a lot of players who aren't anywhere near their level. I'm sure it's easy to feel like you can do whatever you want at that stage. But it's a lot different in the NFL, and you see most of these young guys get that and make the necessary changes. I'd still take the "risk" on Foster, even at 11.. and that's assuming that he did have something to hide. Maybe both of these guys are telling the truth and they were just sick and needed fluids. |
