Patriots @ Steelers - Best Finish To A Game Since The SuperBowl

If you didn't stay tuned to the late afternoon match-up of the New England Patriots at the Pittsburgh Steelers, you missed an absolute classic and one of the craziest finishes since the Patriots comeback versus the Falcons in the Superbowl...

Was glad to see a call finally go against the Steelers, rightfully so, as they almost always seem to get BS calls including some that gave them Superbowls...

And what does it say about NFL announcing and the morons that cast those roles that Tony Romo can catapult to the top of his profession as a rookie commentator and correctly predict what was to come???

This video picks up after the Patriots scored 10 pts late in the fourth quarter including an amazing drive with some incredible catches by Gronk, all this right before this video picks up...

Probably the guy that came up with the catch rule.

I hate the rule. I understand the interpretation of the rule, making a football move, maintaining possession all the way through etc but damn this is something the officiating committee needs to revisit this off season.

I get what you're saying, but games are long enough and this is the best definition that the Rules Committee can create for an objective and not subjective ruling...

Not everyone would consider it a catch, by putting the criteria in place, the refs now have benchmarks, checkmarks to guide them in the ruling...

Besides, F*ck Pittsburgh!!! They've gotten calls for years, all the way back to the non-catch Immaculate Reception that hit the ground then bounced into Franco's hands...

And don't get me started on the biased officiating that screwed the Cardinals out of a SuperBowl...

Personally the Steelers had this well in hand on their next to last drive.
Running out clock

Goodell starts calling for flags and the drive comes to a complete stop.

That's incorrect as Goodell is no fan of the Pats; Steelers had been getting away with BS all game - par for the course with them...

Only when they tightened up on the Defensive PI and Defensive Holding that Gronk was able to break loose...
